PORTLAND / VANCOUVER AREA

Legacy Good Sam Transplant Picnic
Thursday, September 8th, 3-5pm

Several of us from the office will be at this fun event hoping to recruit new volunteers. I suspect we’ll see some of you kidney recipients there. We’d love to have a couple volunteers join us at the table to talk to folks about our programs, volunteer opportunities, and what it is like volunteering at Donate Life Northwest. Let me know if you are interested.

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 10:45-11:45
OHSU Auditorium – Starting October 7th

We don’t have all the details of which schools will be coming on which days. We may not be able to fill all the spots in October, but we hope to. If you are interested in volunteering for a specific Tues, Wed, or Thurs in October, please let me know. I will keep you posted as soon as we verify the school attendance.

Tigard HS – In-class Presentation - Speaker
Monday, October 13th & Monday, October 20th
8:00-9:20am (for both days)

I need a personal story speaker to give presentations at Tigard High School October 13th & 20th. There is just one morning class each day. Let me know if you are interested in volunteering for one or both of these presentations.

Providence Hospital – Nurses Conference
Wednesday, October 29th – time TBA
Kennedy School at NE 33rd & Killingsworth

We’ve been invited to join Pacific Northwest Transplant Bank to speak at this conference. I need a donor family speaker to come and share their story with the group. You will have about 15min total. The exact time will be announced soon. Let me know if you are interested and I will keep you in the loop once we nail down those final details.
